Hey BV/Salida paddlers, are there any ice bridges in the Gorge? Thanks!

That's a fine question. Numbers and Fractions are open, but I can't speak for the Gorge.

I was in Canon over the weekend. Stopped and looked at Parkdale, no sign of ice there or in town. Didn't run the Gorge but it was 70 degrees Sunday. Can't conceive of any ice in the Gorge

Per Facebook there were 4-6 river wide ice bridges about 5 days ago. Shortly after my last post.

Reported clear by several sources on the 31st. Certainly clear after the warm 70 degree weekend. I don't know how cold it's been in Canon but given the temps around here it could have re-formed this week. I saw huge amounts of floating ice on the Colorado yesterday (2-5) between Glenwood and GJ. Just goes to show how fast it can change this time of year,

Bighorn canyon has gone from totally clear to several ice dams over the last two days. I would place a wager that there are ice dams in the gorge again.
