Oar Rig

I am up for that. If you need crew in the raft or support in kayak. I can't do it until after work during the week though. Gotta pick up the family from airport sometime on Saturday. Katherine would be stoked on that but she won't be back until Saturday sometime.

Dave it's Tom, we saw two cats with oar rigs last night on Boulder Creek. Go for it! We will be there with the shredders again hope to see you.

Be ready to argue with the cops about access... I heard on the radio this morning that Boulder Creek and the Saint Vrain have been closed to rafters, whatever that means.

Boulder creek is closed to tubers, If you have a Class III pfd and helmet and appear to be prepared to be on the creek I dont believe you will have any problems

Dave- I hope you get on the news again. I think we still have the news segment "Death Trap: Kayakers refuse to heed sheriff's warning" on the DVR from the last time we paddled it when it was closed to tubers.

the key is single chamber. The BC is closed to all single chamber craft except for kayakers and white water canoes. I would be up for a run in my kayak this after noon.

Jut ran from 4 mile to 30th. Looks good for rafts as long as you have a full face screen to keep all the little branches from poking your eyes out. That place needs serious pruning for a raft run to be enjoyable, in my opinion.

Again, very impressed that emergency crews were doing no more than recommending not to launch. I felt sure someone was going to try to get us off the creek with a bull horn every few minutes.
