Rockin' Gore campfire...thanks everyone!....

I wanted to send a shout out to all that stopped by our campfire Sat. nite,
what a good time and it was just hitting full stride when our tax dollars at work decided we were having too much fun. Looking out over a crowd of 150+ folks 8 or 9 deep surrounding the fire all having a great time (as I fumbled with words to ask everyone to leave) is one of my fondest camping memories yet. To my campmates, glad to hear we all had fun. To our fellow gorefest campers, thanks for a great time, I hope you all had a cocktail or two while Hip-Hop played prior to be asked to disburse. (See also ...the nazi camp at Gore post....) Next year, bigger, better, and louder! -Kevin-

Now that, my man, was a kick-ass party you threw. THANK YOU!

Next time, consider hiring a girl stripper instead eh, what were you thinking?

Yeah!!! Kev!!! It was a most memorable bash. I just wish the pics that i thought I was taking were of Grand County's Finest and not my armpit.

Congrats to all the boaters who went out and gave it their all!!!!

See you somewhere.

Yeah, I'm guessing all of us could have done without Mr. Banana Hammock, and the PBR guy claiming "fastest beer in Colorado" was a bit intense yet funny. I was stoked to see a fair number of ladies as well, seeing as we all know how scarce ladies can be at events such as these. I'd love to hear others stories as many good times were had that evening.........

Frenchy, thanks for the props, the BLM guys stopped by the next morning to insure a proper cleanup had taken place, and we also discussed moving the party to the overflow area. Lets brainstorm some ideas, but a Bonfire with music could be a great start.......

And D, the pictures didn't turn out, but it was a valiant attempt nonetheless. I'm certain we can always have a blast at Gore with the usual suspects. Heal up that liver, you have two weeks............
