Rock Creek Races...Red Lodge, MT

Just wanted to put the word out on short notice...If anyone is going to be in south central MT. Slalom races will be held on Rock Creek town section on Saturday, June 11th from noon til done. Slalom not your gig, lets go creeking, everything in our area should be prime that weekend...Clark's Fork and tribs...Stillwater...great creeking 10 minutes from Red Lodge, there will be something for everyone...Big party Saturday night!

Should be lots of camp spots in the Forest, and I'm sure a yard or 2 would be available for tents as well...See ya on the water!!

Bump...hung gates today looking like a fun class 2-3ish slalom course pretty short, but everything else should be running here next weekend also so good creeking if you show

Bump...slalom gates are up, this weekend is the 75th anniversary of the mighty Beartooth Highway...bring your skiis and creek boats

Just checked the USGS gauge...currently at 330 cfs. Looks to be the one of a few in the state running below mean. Is this going to affect the race? Is there anywhere on line to get further details?

Slalom course is set plenty water West Fork of Rock Creek running better boating on that one anyway...slalom course is below the confluence so it has water...boatercross will depend on the turnout, if there are enough creekers then we will have a bro race... entry fees for slalom is 25 bucks and T shirts to competitors
