Roaring Fork gauges?

Maybe I'm missing something but why is the Slaughterhouse gauge reporting 830 cfs and the Woody Creek gauge downstream only reporting about 300? Is one of these miscalibrated? Most importantly, is Slaughterhouse actually in?

Yes, would you expect woody creek to have more than 300 cfs? slaughter is good to go over 500 cfs and 830 appears to be what's in there.

Sorry, I see what you mean. The gauges below slaughter should be higher. 830 cfs looks right for slaughter however.

the gauges on the upper end of the fork always seem to be screwy. i judge wether it is runnable or not by looking at the level at the basalt 82 bridge.

The dwr gage for slaughterhouse is a good measure for the woody creek stretches of the fork too. You can also subtract the outflow from ruedi from the Emma gage as a verification.
