Rio Mancos info?

Perusing the gazetteer... Anyone have any info on the Rio Mancos? Looks like a beautiful canyon running the southern perimeter of Mesa Verde. There's a gauge that shows 200+ish cfs with a strong diurnal cycle peaking a couple weeks ago. Class 2 float? Self support in a kayak? Minimum flow?
Thanks,
P.

The Mancos is down to 30 cfs, When it is going 200-300 is high. Barb wire and snags make it less doable. Land owners probably don't have a clue on river access law. Further down it enters Mesa Verde NP and the parkies don't allow anyone off the pavement.

Ask the lady who makes alpaca rafts for more info.

The river crosses US 160 between Towaoc Co and Shiprock NM, then drops to the sanjuan. That stretch is on Ute Mt Ute land.
