Rescue Vest Question
I have a X-Tract rescue vest. I have practiced using the rescue harnass, but I was wondering about the attachment at the very bottom center of the vest. There is a small metal rectangular type loop at the bottom. I think this is either for attaching to a climbing harnass, or for running leg loops through the vest for vertical extraction.
I have seen this on other vests as well. Can someone explain how it works for me?
Ok, I just looked on the web site, and I guess you use a cam strap, but can someone explain specifics for how you would rig this?:
* Crotch-harness capable - Add one 6 footer cam strap to your rescue kit. Position its Ancra buckle at front for easy release. Adds an extra measure of security for particular rescue situations.
