Rattlers in Golden!

I saw a small 3' long rattlesnake at the Golden WW Park. It was sunning itself in the rocks just down stream from the main comp feature. After abiut an hour the Golden police came by and grabbed and bagged him to be relocated in a less popular area.

If you see one others may be close, watch your step and where fido is walking.

Came across one upstream by tunnel 1 whilst fishing. I poked him with my rod a few times, but never got him to rattle.

That's what I was thinking. I just didn't want to start a ruckus.

I almost stepped on a rattlesnake after swimming from Mr. Bill all the way through the bottom rapids in the narrows on the Black Rock run at about 1000 cfs. Got my ass KICKED in the swim, struggled to shore, and then almost got bitten by a rattlesnake.

I'm totally scared of beefy Black Rock narrows now.
