r2 the box or the pots?

What do people think about r2'n the box on the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone or the Pots on the Stillwater? I might be stuck over in the area this spring and want to take advantage while i'm here

While the Box has been rafted at least once, it would be an epic.. Lots of portages and the many of the runnable drops would be terrifying from inside a raft.

And not sure it is really runnable until at least July most seasons.

Can't comment on the Stillwater.

Definitely the Pots...so more people can watch the incredible carnage. Seriously, have you even seen these runs? And don't wrap your raft in there and F the run up for kayaks.

There are much worse fates than to be "stuck" around that area. R2 big timber while your "stuck" there and that would be a serious trifecta!

I can't find the blog Mike, but I know for sure that I read the trip report.. I believe it was two catarafts.

I can't recall seeing any photos, let me keep looking. The anklebreaker portage alone would have been heinous. But man it's beautiful in there..

Hard to find info on it now. It was like 12 or 14 years ago. Les Stone out of Idaho Falls ran it with a custom Sotar. It used to be in the sotar catalog but not any more. Pretty freaking manly.

I'm sure it wasn't more than a few years ago that Sotar had photos, I believe on their website of Dr Stone and at least one other cat boater in the CF box. They were impressive photos. Maybe they would post them, be good advertising for them.
