Pumphouse to Statebridge at 3850

Any input for my run tomorrow in an oar rig? Is it any different than at 2000 like last weekend? Somewhat new to boating and a little wary after seeing a kayak was wrapped at Eye of the Needle. Also does anyone have the number for the State Bridge shuttle?

rancho del rio runs the shuttles. they have a website.

Note to running pumphouse and down..

Saw a couple posts regarding flows and experiences recently from pumphouse on down... you may have to look some pages in each of the forums to find, but some folks *very* recently discussed your location of trip and just the kind of issues you may encounter. Please look around, it's there.

I did pumphouse to rancho yesterday at 4K and it was great. Eye was easy - start right and move towards center through the wave train. The hole at Yarmony was pretty beefy. I started left and worked right. I had to pull hard to stay away from the wall on the left. There were some good sized tail waves but the run wasn't too tough. The flatwater below Yarmony wasn't so flat. It's a pretty quick run at 4K. The water from Rancho to State Bridge looked like a lot of fun - mostly big wave trains. Sad to see the remains at State Bridge. It was just a big pile of ashes.
