Pumphouse snowed in?

Planning on running pumphouse to radium on friday. Does anyone know if its accessible after the storm? Is the road normally plowed?

Yes its normally plowed, but if it was'nt, you still would have no problem. Should be ok paddling if you follow main channel.

The upper Colorado is tanking...It's below American Whitewater's recommendation...I know gore is still fun at these flows... I assume your raft will be dragging along the bottom in several locations...

Trough Road (C.R. 1) is plowed by the county, but it was snow-packed and icy up to Inspiration Point on Wednesday. Had lots of sun yesterday and will get more today, so I'm sure it will just be sloppy now.

Pumphouse Road is NEVER plowed, but there was no snow accumulation below Inspiration Point. Fees must be paid at Pumphouse through Sunday, Oct 31st, then no fees. YAY! We will close the new lower campground at Pumphouse on Monday to keep it from getting torn up during the wet/snowy season.

As was pointed out, the water is really low now.
