Pueblo Whitewater Course Needs Your Help

AS you have probably heard, Pueblo Whitewater course has had the first drowning in a whitewater course in the country. This is a new course and a new concept to a lot of the population here. WE ( Pueblo Paddlers) are meeting with other City officials to propogate more education to people here who are ignorant of basic water safety.
I have the task of searching for signage that tells people That PFD;s are mandatory in the river. If Your have any pictures of signs at your favorite play spot dealing with such issues, PLEASE send them to me . We already have the standard legal stuff. I am looking for something kids would be interested in. Please send them to: [email protected]

Get in touch with the ACA. I'm pretty sure they have begun a new safety program & I seem to remember it included a poster on wearing PFD's (Rebecca Giddens, Athens silver medalist was on the poster). They should be a good resource: http://www.acanet.org/
