I passed through last weekend too. Also, no melt, actually more fresh snow. This post was intended for those who told me that it would be running, and for those who want it as bad as I do too... Figured that I'd save some people some trouble.
Also, none of the diversions that I'm aware of (I biked the whole thing) seem to be taking water out of the river. So, if I had to guess, I'd say that the gauge is probably reading what is actually running. You usually cannot count on that. Does anyone know anything about the gauge and diversions that I don't?

But I think it will be a BIG peak with all that snow. Patience is such a strong virtue. The Poudre NEVER sucks, btw, if you can 't raft you can paddle; if you can't paddle you can fish; if you can't fish you can drink by the river......
