went up to cameron's pass today with a good friend. Lots of snow, joe wright was full with a good amount of ice still covering the res. There is definitely a layer of organic matter ontop of the snow which is accelerating the melt, but no drastic desert dust layer that everyone's been talking about. Looks lie we are going to have another great year right out the backdoor of Ft. Collins.
On another note, we are planning a tri sport adventure for some day in the second week of june, Ski cameron's pass, Pedal down to steven's gulch and paddle down through pineview. If anyone;s interested in joing us shoot me an email at [email protected]
we are trying to get a good group of people together to celebrate the Poudre Canyon in all its June glory with minimal impact on the canyon itself.
Paddle on Wayne, Paddle on Garth
