Poudre Question: Pineview vs Sportsmans guage

if pineview is above 3', are the rustic sections still at a raft runnable level? what is the minimum on sportsmans for the rustic sections?

is there any general formula to convert the rock report to an estimate at the sportsmans gauge, such as "rock report minus 0.8' equals sportsmans estimate"?

thanks in advance.

Good to go. I think 3.5ft(pineview) is considered the general cutoff for rustics bein filled in. Brother and another rafter ran it last weekend-White mile on down. No probs.

You can get a paddle raft under the rustic/indian meadows highway 14 bridge still at this level...oar rigs did too but stow your captains chair if ya got one. Or portage up to the side of the road. Obvious signs tell you it's ahead when your on the water. Might not wanna try this if it gets much higher

Everybody goes by the pineview gauge. Sportsmans more for Spencer Heights/Joe's.
