Peak Run-off Info

I am working on a Regional Climate Change project for the Colorado River Basin and am trying to find peak run-off information for the basin. I have played with the USGS and Snotel some, but have had little luck. Does anyone know of any other databases that would have this kind of information?

Thanks,

Zach Moore.

Just choose a state and hit submit....then chose a gauging station and you should get all the average river flows for each year.

Same thing....this one will give you peak flows for each gauging station.

Helpful hint -- when you get to the page with all the stations, hit CTRL+F...this will give you a dialogue box for searching, enter the name of the station like
'durango' and it will find that station, keep hitting find next until it finds durango at animas (for example) and you can see all the flows for the animas at durango. Wink

Colorado River Basin this year was probably last week of May. Normal I think it maybe a week or two later? Depends where you measure from.
