Parkdale at 4,000 cfs is Awesome!

If you haven't paddled the Parkdale section of the Arkansas at above 4,000 cfs then you are really missing out on a super fun river run. The waves are huge!! I had such an awesome time. The big hole in Spike Buck is kindof intimidating but easily skirtable. (Is that a word?) Anyway, Parkdale is quickly becoming one of my most favorite class III-IV big water run. My little Star loved it too. That little boat got tossed around just enough to make me smile as I was launching over gigantic waves. I can't wait to paddle that section again.

If anyone knows of a river in the Denver area that is comparable to Parkdale at bigwater, then please let me know.

Thanks,
GB
