Paonia Resevoir Spillway

Paonia Reservoir Spillway! Just checked it out, looks like fun, and or death, but I am interested in the possibility of runnin the slide. Any beta on attempts, successful I hope?

there has been 3 to do it...hit very hard at the bottom and all did backflips out of control..if you don't pass the backwash it could be lights out with or without safety..

Bo Wallace ran it in a Hammer. The video he showed me has him flying almost 20 feet in the air and almost bouncing off the river right wall.

I am not sure the brief moment of exhileration is worth the risk of ending your paddling career. Landing flat from that heigh will mess up your back...

But, if you decide to giver her, please get some better footage.
