paddling in CO in October?

Will be driving through CO from Oregon in first week of October. Any paddling at all to be had -- I realize it will be very dry, but any dam releases, low water late-season, etc?

shoshone (class 3) and south canyon (class 2) on the colorado run year-round. The lower blue (class 2+/3-) sometimes runs into october. Waterton (class 3+) on the south platte may still be running too. Dunno about any harder runs.

black canyon and gunni gorge maybe going outside of montrose. also Gore canyon and bailey near denver. best bet would be to stay in OR for some paddling but i guess you guys haven't had much of a season.

Keep an eye on the rains. Got some Vallecito action today and if we get our fall rains we might get more. That or Bakers Box if we get enough.

thanks

Thank you all for the info. Any idea where I can find some info on Gore canyon -- whether it will be running and general info; heard it is a great run and not to be missed if it's going.

I'm in Oregon too. Where are you located? I am on the coast, and always looking for people to run with.
Later, Perry
