I'm not sure what you are asking for, but here is a site with write up of a lot of runs in California. You can look by region, difficulty and alphabetically. They also rate them based on their experience on the run.

They are all really beautiful, but the mcloud is epically beautiful. Water from the bowells of mt shasta.

On this note, I am driving back from sf to Bend , Or this weekend and I am looking to so some nor cal paddling. Looking for class v- or iv +.

Is there anywhere I can just show up and likely find a group to boat with?

There are 2 runs which might be easy to find someone near the put in that I can think of in that category. Chamberlain Falls ( IV ), and Slab Creek (IV+ to V-). Slab Creek will likely be packed, as this is the first time in years it has run, and this is the last scheduled release this year.

I'm looking to boat slab creek this weekend if a group wouldn't mind me joining, or if we could get a group here. I've run it once before, earlier this year.

The Salmon is running but it needs 2500cfs more to be the Slammin' Salmon.
