NISP/Glade Reservoir EIS is due out today.

The other Poudre thread has overshadowed the fact that the EIS for the Glade Reservoir/NISP is due out today. It was supposed to be on the COE website yesterday, but I haven't made it there to see what it says. It's a 700 page document which should be good for a little light reading on the can or in bed. The Coloradoan's summary of the document didn't shed much positive light on the project.

I tried the US ACE homepage, and it wouldn't load for me. I ended up finding a link through NCWCD for the download page, and its here:
https://www.nwo.usace.army.mil/html/od-tl/eis-info.htm
You have to srcoll down to the bottom to find the NISP project and assocaited documents. Its still downloading....

a little light reading, eh?

Most EIS's are fairly organized so you can focus on what you want to, but there is a ton of BS in them. If you write comments to them make sure you don't just send a form letter those don't do shit.

Send a message via Yahoo to jeffy
Nothing but "Page load error".

Anyone have a better link?

Just tried the link I posted above and it loaded, however some kind of security/ signature/ authentication thing popped up first, and I just clicked "yes" to continue....

'Fade' Reservoir

Here's a summary of the EIS from our local media bastion, The Coloradoan, for what it's worth...

The Coloradoan - www.coloradoan.com - Ft. Collins, CO.

May the Glade Reservoir have the same fate as the Dodo bird, analog television broadcasts, and Jimmy Hoffa...
