new rain, higher flows, escalante flowing??

With all the rain the Delta and GJ have been getting, is it possible that escalante would go off? Can anyone give me some feed back? or know how to tell, other than driving out there?

Highly unlikely. The water tends to soak into the ground more than raise the river. I lived there for years, and even in the spring it was impossible to catch it with enough rain fall to make it run. Peak snowmelt spring run-off is generally the only thing that will bring it up to runnable levels.
