New Mexico creeking DVD now available.

Hey everybody'
"FUNNEL" A Journey Through The White Water Creeks Of Northern New Mexico just got back from the duplicators. It is almost 2 hrs long and features these creeks: The Embudo, Santa Cruz, Brazos, Upper Box, Pueblo, Guadalupe and the Red River. It is intended to be a kind of visual guide to these runs. Most of the drops in each run are shown. They are named when they have names. Different water levels, local music and lots of boating. Mostly class V stuff with a couple IV's thrown in. Good source for info if you have never been to NM or if you just want to see some quality runs start to finish. Check out my website to order and watch the trailer.
Thanks, adios, Atom....

yup

Creek run near Los Alamos, NM. The DVD features Ed Lucero's crazy run of the lower cascade. Upper part is fun Class 4 with a couple 5's.

Atom,
Sick video!! Looks like you put a lot of work into it and came out with a really slick product!
I was planning on buying one today, but I just received a $3,000 bill for a little mountain biking accident I had (Dropping a 10 foot cliff is a lot easier in a kayak then on a bike)
Any way as soon as I can sell some blood, sperm, kidney, or unused appendage I will be sending $26 dollars your way!

Nice job
Patrick

Got the video Friday

Hey Atom,

Got the video on Friday. I really liked the footage and thought it complements the existing guidebook nicely. Good format, too. Pick a river, see a sample of the rapids at different levels, add some light commentary to go with it. I also liked the old school high water footage -- some bold fellows. Doesn't make me ever want to see the inside of those canyons at flood!

It's neat to see a sample of the Brazos, too. Spending a night in there would highlight a season for sure. So remote and beautiful. The first time I saw those cliffs was on a climbing roadtrip and I about freaked. Turns out there's been a few of them climbed by some vagabonds back in the 70's. Looks like the climbing is less than remarkable, but a traverse of the canyon by kayak would be the ticket. I think that rock is quartzite, bet that adds up to heavy "angular disincentives" in those rapids! Think there's any fish in there? I'm drooling.

Anyhow, makes me wish I'd made more than just one trip down there this year. More to look forward to next spring. I had a full left shoulder repair job this fall and everything in there is coming together nicely. Can't wait to test 'er out!

Cheers!
