New Fire on the MFS

We have been keeping our fingers crossed as southern Idaho burned this summer. Luckily, everything was far from the river. Now, with our launch next week this one flares up near Boundry Creek.

Toes crossed now as well. The FS closed the river back in 97 on the day we were scheduled to launch. All groups between Boundry and Indian were forced off the river as well. That was a bad fire year. Hope its not a repeat season.

I think you'll be fine. So far fire officials are not worried too much about it.

We drove by it on Monday and it was pretty spooky, though.
