Need set of wooden Bocce Balls for GC trip

Howdy and Happy Holidays to all!

Not sure if this post belongs here but I'm desperate. I'm headed back to the Grand in three weeks and neet to find a set of wooden Bocce Balls. Wood is the best; resin and plastic wont hold up to the rigors of all-terrain bocce... and especially for three weeks on the Grand.

Anyone know any good sources for a wooden set? I've been looking far and wide on the 'net and the only wooden sets I've seen are tournament sets for about $200 bucks! Thinking more like spending around $50.

cheers!

For what its worth, I picked up a fairly cheap set of plastic bocce balls at the walmart in page, and they held up just fine to all terrain bocce in the grand and cataract. I didn't want to bring my nice set bocce set on a grand trip.

thanks for the tip... I saw those on-line and considered it... with the short days in the Canyon it might be nice; we've had to break out the headlamps a few times before.

cheers!

Metal Case 8 Boule Sets

Check those out. I replaced my bocce with a boule set and it is sweet! Should be the last set I buy.... for a while at least. Though use a white ball from a plastic set. The boule one sucks. Enjoy!
