Its in Reno. Anything in Colorado? BV racers, any old glass race boats in your garage/basement?

I've got an old Stohlquist needle rig, fiberglass, probably not wide enough to be legal if the rules are strict. In good shape. $100? I'm in Breck. I think you'd fit....

I'm looking too!

Any idea where I can find a fast boat for a 5' nothin' hundred pound chica? Hobie, you got anything layin' around in the garage? My mamba isn't exactly speedy. I don't need anything fancy, just fast. I've been looking at the swaps, but no luck. May end up in my siren!

the best place to look for fast boats is here: usawildwater It is generally tough to find fast boats, they usually don't make it out of a paddling community, they get passed around quite a bit. I am going to try to dig up as many here in Salida as possible for people to use at the 3P.

mmmmm!

Hey Mike, I'm bummed--I was hoping to do both the PPP and the Imperial Challenge this year, but they're on the same day! (I see that they were last year too) I don't know if there's anybody else wanting to do both, but I 'spect a few would...don't suppose there's any chance of moving the date, eh?

Those were the shots I need. Can I steal them from you?

You know we are kind of stuck with dates. We cant go earlier because Monarch is still open and we don't want to compete with them on their last weekend and need the support of ski patrol for the ski leg. We can't go later because on most years April 18 is pushing it on snow on the lower end of the course.

But it should not be a problem because you can just blow off the Imperial Challenge!

I figgered that's what you'd say--lol! that's cool, I kinda thought both races would be hemmed in by the ski season and the snowpack

sure, feel free to pilfer what you like--just make sure I get royalties on all proceeds
