Nasty tree in Upper Animas near Ten Mile Rapid

Just pulled out of a 3 day trip up there this afternoon. We never saw the tree (since we went through this stretch on day 1), but a train worker/raft guide stopped us as we were packing our gear at the take out and said there is a nasty, freshly-fallen tree somewhere below Ten Mile. When asked if it was still runnable, he said that it was maybe runnable, if you knew it was there. Would have to do a technical eddie out behind a rock to slingshot far enough left from the sound of it.

Be Careful.
