My Liquid Logic Seat Moves Like A Mofo ...

The seat in my Braaap moves back 2-3 inches every time I take her out on the water ...

I'm tightening the bolts appropriately.

Any suggestions ...

Obviously, it's a total pain in the arse.

Gracias.

Johnnie A.

Check to see that the metal blocks have not slid out of the tracks in the seat. Sometimes over tightening the blocks can damage the track. The tracks are replaceable but it's pesky. It's a common problem and one that needs to be addressed.

I've had the same problem. Also, Shane from LL is very willing to help out. get a hold of them through their FB page if you still have questions.

Also, you have to be careful not to unscrew them too far, or the blocks come out. usually it's just a matter of lining them all back up.

Thank you for the response. Already sent a pm on FB to Shane, a phone message and email to LL. Eagerly awaiting a reply. As soon as I do a splat, the seat moves backwards all the way ... Sometimes, the metal piece even comes out of the track because the seat goes so far back. It's really bumming me. Once again, many thanks! La Chaim!

P.S. Should the ridges on the metal piece that fits in the tracks be right side up or upside down? I have them right side up ...

Inside each of the metal rails is a "puck." The puck is a square, metal washer. The screws on each side of the seat need to be inserted into these pucks and tightened. If the screws are not in the pucks, then the seat will slide on the rails.

The flat side of the puck faces up. The "ridges" face down.

come to find out, if one lives behind the zion curtain here in utah, it is strict law to always keep your ridges on the upside of your puck ... please do not tell the local authorities, but i'm flying my puck w/ the ridges downstream and my arse(seat ...) seems to be holding tight.

super grateful! once again, buzzards ALWAYS show me their true colors!!!

gracias, amigos!!!
