murky water critters

alright,

I'm obviously killing time but while doing so my thoughts drifted off to my childhood and the story's of Bruce the Killer Bass and Floyd the Worm that was lost trying to catch him in Lake George NY. Told by old loc's in the area around the camp fire.

This brought out the question what other murky deap water critters are out there?

Lochness - Scotland
Champy - Lake Champlain, NY (sightings have been proven to be a school of sturgeon)

Anyone else? Any river based Critters of the murky depths? Curious to see what comes up.
