Muddy Creek flow/height correlation

the USGS watern readin' machine seems to be down on Muddy Creek at Emery, UT. It's reading n/a, which means its frozen or its got a gauge error. i dont think its frozen, we were in them parts a month ago and water was flowing already. so it must be busted.

there is a second gauge at the Emery Water Consv District, but it just has a flow height and no cfs reading. so does anyone have any correlation between the height on the "Lower" gauge and the flow on the "Upper" or USGS gauge? what is "in" on the ft gauge?

looking to catch it if it goes this year, been skunked two summers in a row and really want to get on it. mid may, june, any predictions? thanks for anything youre willing to provide!

2' on the the Lower Muddy gauge is a good minimum. Dont rely on the Emery gauge.
we got it last year right after a flash flood the last week of May....the 4 years I have been lucky enough to run the Muddy its been last week of May/1st week of June. Historical data shows this to be fairly consistent. If you go post pics please! I must live vicariously this year...

You can bring up the 30 day readings for both of them (or even year long stats) and compare the height on the first to the cfs on the second to give you a good idea how the relate.
