Mountain Bike Shuttle For Westwater

I recently learned of the mountain bike trail that connects the Westwater put-in with the take out. Is this the Kokopelli trail? Does anybody have beta on the distance, difficulty, etc?

Thanks,

Troy in SLC

It is the Kokopelli and it takes about 1 and a half hours, is mostly flat with some rolling hills and one small, steep climb.

That sounds really cool. I'm going to try to incorporate the bike ride with my next westy trip. Are there any forks or choices in the trail, or is it one single track to the destination?

It's double track. Technically, you can drive it, provided you have a burly vehicle; but it wouldn't save time on the shuttle.

It might not save time but it does save money if you have one vehicle and your option is to pay for a shuttle.

The way you save both is with a dirt bike.
