I have roughly 10 days or more and am going to work my way up to Banff. So southwest Montana is preferable for Sunday or Monday but I can drive hard if need be. If I dont make it to Banff and paddle the whole time it wont hurt my feelings.

We will be up there looking to boat. Tentative plan is Boulder River area tomorrow. Gallatin on Sunday for the local festival. Swan River Monday. Then we are on MF Flathead for a few days. PM if interested.

Bear trap is a must on your way. Epic zone with intense wildlife and one of the best Class 4 rapids around. 12 miles and lots of in between water and a longer shuttle that is hitchable. Always has water.
