Middle Fork Salmon: which boat?

We put on Jun 7. It's a low water year. River running 3.4 ft now and forecast to drop to around 3 ft next week.

Should I take play boat or Remix? If there's going to be a fair number of play spots (even if small) then I'd take play boat. Otherwise might be more comfortable in bigger boat.

Would appreciate hearing what the river is like in the 3 ft range.

I just got off 2 days ago and I was in my shiva, I would definitely take the playboat. A lot of great surf...

Got off 1.5 weeks ago, was in a Z. Good combination of speed and surfy.

My legs were sore from not having paddled much this spring, so there were times I was envious of a buddy in his Nomad...while he was envious not being able to catch any waves.

If you want to play, go playboat. If you want comfort, go Remix.
