Does anyone have a current wood report for Marsh Creek?

Creekwide log jams can form and blow at any given time, be careful!

Some friends ran a shredder down last weekend and reported it clean.

It ran a bit higher ( more likely to dislodge something on the rise) but has settled down and dropping a bit now. If you are anything but high alert on the crick you can have your ass handed to you quickly.

Good luck. Might have some buddies trying to run it Sat or Sunday. I will be with the kiddos so no for me.

Ran it a few weeks ago at 5 or 6 ft and there was some wood to avoid, but sounds like it is gone now. I recall there being several braided channels and blind corners in the first ~8-10 miles so stay on your toes.

That earlier wood was all clear when we ran it on May 17 at almost 7 feet.

The one very sharp left hand turn ( more than 90 degrees) was clean both inside and outside channels. Hard to stay out of the shrubberies on the outside in a raft.

The large log nearly river wide on the sweeping right hander off the scree and snow field has straightened out and points almost down stream.
