Lyons Outdoor Games... WE NEED PEOPLE FOR CREEK RACE SAFETY
Alright, this is getting really good. Water levels are at an all time high for the games. Looks as if we will have more then a 110% more water than last years and even more from previous years.
The Adam Barron Memorial Creek Race is not open to spectators, BUT is open for people that are assisting with safety for the race. Please step up if you fully understand how to throw a rope, how to rescue someone and probably most importantly, when NOT to assist. For those stoked to see one of the best steep creek races in the country, this is it... and 70% of the run can be seen from most vantage points...
I would prefer that the safety personnel be at least solid IV+ boaters themselves. You need to be in Lyons early on Saturday morning, and it might be best to show up Friday night and party it up with the bands and bbq that are happening. Camping is free for the athletes and voluteers at Meadow Park Campground in downtown Lyons.
Post your contact info here and Kyle will call you.
