Lyons Outdoor Games flows

I imagine everyone will be stoked to hear that DWR has offered to release additional NSV flows out of Button Rock for the Games this weekend. They've even agreed to turn it on tomorrow night and keep it flowing through Sunday. We'll have at least 300 coming down NSV alone. The hole's will be perfect.

RE: the creek race - They gave me firm numbers of what's coming down now so that we could calculate actual SSV flows. As of 15 minutes ago there was 285 coming down. The race should be unreal.

Is there a reason they don't turn it on during daylight and then back down again at night? This would allow higher flows without taking more water.

Is it a pain in the ass manual operation to adjust the flows?

Just to clarify, right now 285 is coming down NSV? So SSV is Lyons gauge - 285?
