Lower Blue update

All,
After the coordination call yesterday (Wednesday the 19th), releases from Green Mountain to the Lower Blue bumped up again by about 80 cfs.

There should be about 890 cfs in the Lower Blue as of this morning.

My guess is this release will maintain through the weekend, unless there is a large rainstorm or something like that.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Best,
Kara

14 foot oar raft down lower blue

Thanks so much for the update Kara. I'm pretty new to boating in this area, and was hoping to take my 14 foot oar raft down the lower blue on Sunday (9/23). Does anyone know whether 890 cfs is sufficient water for me to take it? (I'm a reasonably competent technical boater).

Thank You!

890 is fine. It will be lots of rowing to avoid rocks, but if you can manage the put in the rest will be fine.

Blue up more!

All,
We've been asked to bump up releases from Green Mountain an additional 40 cfs. Tomorrow (September 22) around 2 p.m., we will make the change.

This means by Saturday afternoon, there should be about 930 cfs in the Lower Blue. I'm not sure how long this release will last, but most likely through Sunday and into Monday.

Have a great weekend,
Kara
