Lower Blue AND Big T
This will be the last good weekend below Green Mountain Dam on the Lower Blue. We're running about 800 cfs out of the dam, right now. But that all stops next week. Beginning Tuesday, we'll start cutting back releases to the Lower Blue. By Halloween, we should be down to around 300 cfs. And that will be it for this year. Releases won't come back up appreciably until run off in 2009.
On the Big Thompson just the opposite will happen next week. For FOUR days next week (not this weekend, but during week days), we'll be releasing 400 cfs down the Big T while we have parts of the Colorado-Big Thompson project down for annual inspections. That's 400 cfs down the Big T the week of October 27.
I'll post here and send e-mails with more specifics on Monday or Tuesday next week.
Have a great weekend!
