Some people may beg to differ but I've run Gore down to 350 cfs and it was the SH*T. 700 is still super fun and everything goes (except the sneak at Gore) If you're running the sneak at 1200 then running the meat at 700 is within your capabilities (IMHO). Joe and I are going in tomorrow. Give me a ring if you want to go. 303 229 0070

I too have run gore all the way down to about 350 and think it is fun and worth doing. I have run the sneak and the meat lines in gore at this level. I think the sneak seems more dangerous than the meat at extremely low water. It has a rock that sticks out that could get you in the ribs if you ran it wrong. Overall though both are pretty easy at that level. The paddle in was surprisingly easy and I don't think we had to get out of our boats once. Tunnel is a little tricky and I think we all ran down the far river left side, which only had about 5 cfs going through it. The main channel looked pretty sticky. I had to push with my hands to get down it.

Current levels are great too. At 700 Tunnel can still be pretty sticky though if I remember correctly. A little more water and it gets flushier, but I think that 350-700 its at its stickiest.

I second that tunnel is sticky at lower levels. We had a group of 5 run it about a few years ago about 700-800cfs. 3 of 5 swam. It was pretty fun and it always feels better swimming with your buddies rather than solo.

I swam from Tunnel around the same flow....that seam forms and is pretty tough to get out of. After I pulled, I got recirc'ed a few times without coming up and tossed against the bottom...not exactly what I was expecting.

That was also the day my paddle never resurfaced and none of us had a breakdown...doh!
