Lost throwbag in Vallecito - Warning re: waist throwbags

I lost my thowbag near Double Undercut or Paddle Bitch in Vallecito on Sunday. I don't think it should be a problem since the rope was still entirely inside the throwbag with the cord cinched. This is to let everyone be aware of the unlikely but possible hazzard and to take my punishment by suffering public rebuke for being a tool and losing a rope in the river, but also to make wearers of waist-worn throwbags aware of a problem:

I wear my throwbag on my stomach with the buckle toward the back. As I was entering the drop I leaned forward and felt a tug from the throwbag strap around my waist. I believe what happened was the end of the waist strap was stuck under my spray skirt (it's happened before). When I leaned forward, it undid the buckle and the river snatched the unbuckled throwbag off my waist. On future waist throwbags, I am going to cut off the excess strap so that there is only a few inches extending past the end of the buckle and not enough to get caught under my sprayskirt.

I found a rope bag below No Way Out but it was not a Salamander style bag. It was old style. It was clotheslined across the river under water. I was able to get the bag to a hiker/boater who was assisting getting a boat out of the river. He was able to retrive the rope. I believe this might have been Dan's rope bag? Maybe someone from Rolf's crew could sort out the lost gear issues. Thanx to upstream boaters who help relay Dan up and back across the Gorge, as well as the boaters who got him up the steep gully.

All of our gear is accounted for. I'm not sure who's rope that was. Gordon, I need to get some things back to you that you lent me. Many thanks to all of the boaters that helped get me across the river, up the canyon, and of coarse the shoulder back in place.
