Lost Paddle

SO LAME, my AT 10 degree offset bent shaft paddle apparently flew out of the back of the truck on Saturday morning between Glenwood Springs and Cisco. If anyone finds one please please call me. 970-319-5417.

LAME.

Dude, clearly you should step it down a notch. I mean seriously, class III boater-granny-drivers should not be taking a truck to a run with at least 10 miles of dirt road and a solid class IV rapid. C'mon dude.

Agreed, but stepping down a notch means that i would have to go kayaking on land. I was going to float the daily with the family. I only took the kayak so the 3yr old could start learning.

As my wife said, Oh that was fun, a nice $500 float trip.

Sure looks like a low-offset.

Timmyho, El Flaco,

I really appreciate that you guys posted the craigslist add. Unfortunately, that is not the paddle. But, I might contact the seller because I do need a paddle. If it is at all suspicious I'll let the buzz know.

Again, thanks for keeping an eye out.

Maybe let the seller know about Mountainbuzz lost/found? On the other hand, if there is no name/number on the paddle then one could argue that it is fair game....buy it for $20 and tough shit to those who paddle without their name on their gear. Maybe it was one of those guys in one of those other threads that was saying they never swim?

I had dismissed the paddle because the monitor that i had used to view the picture made the paddle look like it was a blue shaft and white blades.

A friend called to ask if it were the one I lost and after closer look, it could be.

I emailed the seller but have not yet heard anything. If any of you contacted him would you let me know. If it were my paddle I'd happily pay more than $20.
