Looking to meet boaters in Eagle/Summit county

Hey all. I'm a relative newbie to the Vail Valley. Now that I'm 1 year removed from starting up my new business (see: slave to self), I'm eager to invest many more days on the river. I'm hoping to meet up with folks for after work floats and of course weekends.

This is my 4th season, and I'm comfortable in class III and most IV(-) waters with the hopes of running primarily IVs now that I have a new river gun and I'm not relegated to my Allstar. If you have room for a fellow boater to tag along on your trips, just give me a shout. It takes very little for me to drop everything else in order to boat. Planning trips?... even better.

Thanks,

Brian

boating partners

Stop in Ten Mile Creek Kayaks in Frisco (located on the corner of forest dr, take the main street exit off I-70) and say hello to Matti and Jeramiah. I live right across the street from the shop and we have a large class IV crew that usually run ten mile, snake, dowd chute, and gore creek and dumont on clear creek on a regular basis after work and travel to the butte, durango and salida/bv and crystal on the weekends. Creeks should be running in a week or two, hopefully sooner!

Right On.

I met a crew at Glenwood this past weekend who run ten often but failed to get info. I'll give both of you a call. It would be great to have a group to run with up here.

Thanks,

Brian

Hey, I'm new to the area as well. I live in Denver, and I'm looking for some people to boat with. I'm comfortable on IV, and with my new Mega Rocker I'm looking to step it up once I get it dialed in. Before then, though, I'd like to hit something III-IV to get the feel of the boat.

Hey Brian,

What time were you thinking for tomorrow AM? I'm thinking the afternoon may work best at least tomorrow because I'll just want to have a beer afterwords and call the week over. Next week I can start some AM trips for sure.

Around all weekend now it seems (was planning on Taos). Definately up for some floats this weekend..
