Looking for someone to float with near Golden

Hey guys,
I've only just bought my first boat, an 11 foot raft, and after a sobering near death experience on Clear Creek I've decided that I need some more instruction/experience with some other experienced boaters. I live in Golden and am just looking for someone to boat with who knows the rivers and how to manage a boat. Anyone willing to help me out? Like I said, I have a boat and the other basic necessities, but I lack the know-how.

If flows hold for the next couple of weeks, I may be able to join you up there weekend after next (20th). Wife and I just did the Chicago Creek to Kermits stretch in our mini. That was fun and close to home for us. We plan to do it more often now.

Thanks for the responses. I just went out again from Dumont to Idaho Springs. It was far more manageable than the section I attempted further down river last week. My best options are going to be afternoons even on the weekends since I usually have to work then.
Boilermaker, I'll be going to Moab that weekend. But I'd like to get out to the upper Colorado (Statebridge, Pumphouse, Radium area) or explore the Poudre. I hear that's a great place to learn. At some point I'd really like to do an overnight from Fruita to Westwater. I did that several years back on a tube.
But while the water lasts here I'd like to get out as much as I can. Anyone with time this coming Saturday after 5:00 or Sunday after 3:00?

Hey let me know if you get up to the Poudre. I would definitely join in with you if I am free and could probably add another boater along with myself if you need two. Usually free in the afternoons and evenings.

I'd love to do the Poudre as well as long as flows allow. The mini max needs a workoput this summer!
