looking for kayakers in Montana

Just moved to White Sulphur Springs, working for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks as a river ranger on the Smith river.

Looking for paddling partners for the season. Anyone in the Bozeman, Livingston, Great Falls zone? And of course I'll be driving all over.

Solid class 4/5- boater, but will paddle just about anywhere!

Drop me a line folks.

Brenden

I'm usually out on the gallatin or hyalite creek everyday. When I stay local couple more weeks and the big t could be going

Mike if you head up to Quake I can drive shuttle or whatever; at least make laps quicker. I'm super bored, still can't really do much, but I need to get out of the house.

Quake is south of Big Sky pretty close to West Yellowstone.

Gallatin can be run as low as you are willing to take the abuse. It's highly channelized. I floated it at 280. You hit lots of rocks but I think you can run it much lower (200?). That said I think my personal min is about 320 and the quality (boofs) increases drastically starting at about 460.
