looking for Kayakers

We are a small group of older Yakers (50's to 70's) and we are looking for more! We don't do eskimo rolls, although we do need spray skirts a lot of the time. We do class I and II rapids and an occasional III, mostly on the White, lower Gunnison and Colorado Rivers.
If you would like to join us, let me know. We are always looking for a few more folks!

LOL! It's not how old you are, it has more to do with how crazy you are! If you are crazy enough to do a class III in an Old Town Vapor 10 (Google it) then you will be a good fit.

Sounds like fun. Im always looking for a group of fun folks to kayak with no matter how old they are. I prefer to keep it conservative (class III+ max). Sign me up!!! I am located in Steamboat Springs. I would love to join for some trips and learn from experienced guys

Hey Yacker, what runs do you do on the (CO) White? I think AW lists a III run above Buford (not S Fk) towards Trappers Lake. I didn't do much river running when I worked in the area. Loooong time ago and I don't remember it being v big?

We did over 4 hours on the White on Sunday. River finally came up after the cold weather and it is runnin'! Came up from 800cfs to over 2000cfs. I have done it at 2000 and it is fast and fun. Should be good for the next month with solid class I and II rapids all the way.
