Long Draw at 200

Just like the title says. They're closing Long Draw Road on the 15th so this may be the last big release Poudre boaters!

Will today be the last? Or will there still be flow tomorrow afternoon (assuming the flow stop takes a while to catch the lower half of the canyon)?

Late season love for the Poudre!

I just spoke with the long draw operators about their plans. They said that they will keep current flows until Thursday, when they will drop flows back down to 100 or so out of long draw. They plan on ramping long draw back up saturday back to 180-200 range, and plan on keeping it there for 4-5 days. Sounds like there is potential for another batch release at a lower flow of around 100 cfs out of long draw around labor day.

Keep in mind that the exact days and flow rates might change, just the best info they can give now. Next Sunday through about mid week should be so

Big South had a posse today. The fist half of the run was low but worth it, second half was great. Nice late season treat.

I'm thinking about heading up for a few miles this afternoon. Possibly Hewlett's to BTO?

If anyone wants to join text (970) 673-RAFT.
