Leaving the Huck

I have been paddling a huck for the past two seasons and it has been my only creeker. I am now looking for a boat that will be a little faster but not that much longer. I like the smaller creekers for the steeper, more narrow creeks, however i feel like the huck is a bit too slow for my liking. any suggestions? I am 5'11" and weigh around 190-195.

I do plan on moving out east, Ashville area, if their re any particualr boats that work well out there. thanks

eric
