sounds like he really wanted to get out of the tree. i probably wouldve done the same. Now I wonder what the West Kiewa River is like.

The Kiewa runs down out of the mountains near Mt. Beauty Victoria. I'm not sure which part is the West Kiewa. I worked at Falls Creek Ski Resort in 2002. The Kiewa(unknown which branch) runs next to the road to the ski area, It looked to be VI+ V from the road. There wasn't much of a boating community that I could find. Not that I would have taken my class III ass down it anyway.
