Kayak Polo -- Fall League forming now! (Fort Collins, CO)

With the CO rivers largely dried up and the weather cooling off, it's time to start thinking about fall kayak polo!

All of the details for the Fort Collins, CO league can be found at the Mountain Kayak Polo website, Mountain Kayak Polo. League play starts on Thursday October 25th.

Please note that our web registration system is temporarily down, so please email me at [email protected] to register for fall season if you have not already confirmed with Mike Bundy.

As always, beginners are welcome. There is a division for new and upcoming players and we are always looking for new folks to join us and keep the club healthy. The website has details on what gear the club has (virtually everything for a new player) as well as pages on rules and referee signals to help you get started.

Please forward this info on to anyone who may be interested in giving kayak polo a try.

I look forward to seeing everyone on the water in a few weeks!

Heather

Agreed!
Derk and I were talking about that the other day...It came down to me (not fair, by the way) having to pussy whip some rich guy into building one. I still think there must be a better way.

or if 100 boaters throw down 100 each we would well be on our way.

can get 2 pumps that will pump 1300 gallons minute each run off of 15 hp elec motor and 8 feet of suction head so i can get both for about 2200, need two motor and primers so our cost would be around 8,000 what do you say?

1 gal / 1 min * 1 min / 60 sec * 1 ft^3 / 7.48 gal = 0.00224 ft^3 / sec (cfs)
or
1300 gal/min = 2.9cfs
so...
about 100 of those pumps ought to make a low-angle playhole
