kayak gash repair

A few years ago I got worked and swam on the NF Yuba at high water. My pyranha h3 was recovered by my friends, but the bow was bent upward. After a day in the sun back in Moab, the bow straightened but left a large gash at the bend. I've read alot of posts on MB but I'm looking for thoughts on filling that gash. I'm alittle embarrassed as this is the first slot I've ever had trouble filling!

If you can post a picture I can help you. Depending on the depth you can fix it with heat or you can fill it with plastic weld. Is it a hole or a crease? I modified a Riot 007 to fit my long legs by raising the interior 1" using a propane torch, boards, a floor jack and ice.
